What is UV Curing?
UV Curing refers to the unique way in which adhesive, coatings & inks are dried using “Energy” from UV light Sources rather than using heat and solvent evaporation.
In the UV curing process adhesive and coating having existing monomers are interlinked in polymerization process, existing chain elements are interlinked in the polymerization process induced by the UV radiation.
Within a split second, the interlinked system is dry and abrasion-proof and can immediately be processed in the next production step.The UV spectrum of the lamp system used can be adjusted to the photo initiators.
